How it works

  • All schools solve the same 30 puzzles.
  • Each puzzle has a 30-second timer. Your closest result is scored when time runs out.
  • Exact match 10 pts · 1–5 away 7 pts · 6–10 away 5 pts · further 0 pts.
  • You may attempt the set as many times as you like. Only your school’s best ranking counts (points, then total time, then earliest date).
  • Solutions are not shown during the competition.

Who can enter

  • Teachers enter on behalf of their school. Students do not submit.
  • School name appears on the public leaderboard.
  • Your work email is stored for the prize. If you are not Head of Maths, we also need the HoD email for verification. Emails are never shown publicly.
