The puzzle
Every picture stands for a whole number. The number at the end of each row, and under each column, is the total of the pictures in that line. Find the value of every picture, then press Check.
Where to start
- One kind of picture: if a row is three hexagons making 24, a hexagon is 8.
- One picture left: take away the values you know, and divide what is left.
- Compare two lines: if two lines match apart from one picture, the difference in their totals is that picture.
- Scale, then compare: double or treble a line so a picture cancels when you subtract.
Every Systeq puzzle has exactly one answer and a useful first move. Hint shows the next step and fills in that picture.

- Classic: 4 × 4 grid, four pictures.
- Hard: five pictures. You will need to compare two lines.
