Rush Hour

Objective

Slide the vehicles so the red car can reach the exit on the right of the middle row. Cars and lorries stay on their own axis: horizontals only left and right, verticals only up and down.

Rules

• No overlapping, and nothing leaves the 6×6 grid except the red car through the exit.
• A move is sliding one vehicle any number of empty cells along its lane.
• You win when the red car sits on the two right-hand cells of its row (flush with the exit).

Controls

• Drag a vehicle with the mouse or your finger. It only slides along its own lane, and stops at the next car or the edge of the grid.
• You can still tap a vehicle, then tap a cell in front or behind it. Arrow keys slide the selected vehicle one cell.
• Hint plays one move from a shortest path (capped on hard puzzles). Undo takes the last slide back.

Difficulty

• Easy: puzzles 1 to 6, few cars, short solutions.
• Classic: puzzles 7 to 12.
• Hard: puzzles 13 to 18, longer jams.

Daily challenge

Everyone receives the same puzzle from the bank, chosen by the UK date. It resets at midnight UK. The first solve of the day counts for the league and your streak.
